Attended school in Dwale, Ky. Worked as a rodman for the B & O Railroad on the construction of the left fork Beaver Creek railroad. When that was completed, he went to Grafton, W.Va. He worked for the B & O for several years, was promoted several times and became the division engineer at Washington, Indiana.
L.O. is a farmer and dairyman, and raises Hereford cattle.
4392. Mary Elizabeth Christman
Mary was a farm girl; milking cows, loading hay and doing all kinds of farm work. She finally left the farm to work in the Federal Reserve Bank in Cincinnati. She gave up that job to work for the Telephone co. When she made a trip to Hayward, Ca. with her uncle, she went to work for the Bank of America, and stayed there until 1947, when she went back to Cincinnati to work for the Prudential Insurance Co.
