Mrs. Martin and her husband, George, owned and operated Martin's Department Store in Pineville for over 47 years. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church and was a long-time member of the Pineville Homemakers Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Martin; sisters and brothers, Vida Combs, Ewell Cornett, Miriam Blankenship and Carson Cornett; and daughter-in-law, Helen Martin.
