Warrant issued for father, and son in ambush slaying.
Murder warrants were issued this morning for a father and his son, County Attorney Roscoe C. Back said, in the ambush slaying of William Gross, about 45, early Tuesday morning on Cane Creek.
Benton Gross, a distant relative of the slain man, and his son Morgan were named in the warrants issued by Judge Ed T. Deaton.

Jim met his death at the hand of his father-in-law. He was shot on Crane Creek, but could not be saved. He died at the Berea Hospital.
