OBITUARY OF HAROLD D. BELCHER
Harold D. Belcher, age 64, of McRoberts, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, October 19, 1998 at his home. He was the son of the late Frank Belcher and Alice McPeek, born March 3, 1934 at Dorton, Kentucky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Curtis Potter; a grandson, Aaron Shade Polly; three brothers: Jackie Belcher, Arthur Belcher and Harrison Potter.  Survivors are his wife, Ruth Holbrook Belcher of McRoberts; a son: Harold Eugene Belcher, Big Stone Gap, Virginia; two daughters: Wendy Lynn Belcher Walker, McRoberts, Kentucky and Mary Ruth Belcher Polly, Pound, Virginia; two grandsons: Johnathon Thomas Belcher and Logan McKinzie Polly; two brothers: Curwood Potter, Jackhorn and A.C. Potter, Waverly Hall, Georgia; two sisters: Elouyse Wilson, McRoberts and Virginia Cochran, Lawton, Oklahoma. Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force; a retired mechanic from Adams Ford Corp. of Jenkins; a member of the Moore's Freewill Baptist Church since 1991 and served as a deacon since 1993.
