Sent a note to the contact page: I am the Gr.Gr. Granddaughter of Nancy Potter mar: Booker Mullins. For years I have searched for his death date and burial site. I have rec. several stories, #1 Jenkins, Ky, #2 above Mine #3 Jenkins. I would love a newspaper article or mention in a family History. I was told he was shot by Hall and the boys “got” him ( Hall) then gathered the women and children and went up the river.( Verbal history from my Gr.Fa. Jackson)
The family left their property and it was sold for back taxes. They appear in Kanawha Co. WVA in 1880 Census. Who was Hall and why did he shoot him? Would like some answers .
