Obituary of Eva Bolling Maggard: Ashland Daily Independent Ashland, Kentucky Wednesday, October 5, 1981 Mrs. Eva Maggard Mrs. Eva Boiling Maggard, 97, of 2502 Main St., Westwood, Kentucky, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday in a convalescent center in Flatwoods, Kentucky following an extended illness. Mrs. Maggard was born Aug. 4, 1884, at Pound, Va., a daughter of the late W.R. and Nancy Dotson Bollng. She was a member of the Westwood Enterprise Baptist Church. Her husband, William Henry Maggard, preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, V.N. Maggard of Orlando, Fla., and B.W. Maggard of Westwood, Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Wages of Ashland, Kentucky and Mrs. Belle Conley of Orlando, Florida; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Westwood Enterprise Baptist Church by the Rev. Ed Cook. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery, Westwood, KY. The body is at the Caniff Funeral Home in Westwood, Kentucky, where friends may call after 6 p.m. Thursday, and will be taken to the church an hour before services.
