The obituary of Mrs. Ella Campbell:
Mrs. Ella Campbell was born April 15, 1921 departed this life on Friday May 29, 2009 at Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center being 88 years, 1 month, and 15 days of age at the time of her passing. Ella was born in Rowdy, Kentucky the daughter of the late John Campbell and the late Sally Ann Noble Campbell. She was a life-long resident of Rowdy, Kentucky. Ella was a homemaker by occupation. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Andrew Campbell, three sons: Claude, Steven, and Lonnie Campbell; one daughter: Sally Campbell. Mrs. Ella Campbell leaves the following relatives surviving: five sons: Else Campbell & Jospehine of Rowdy, Ky., Amos Lee Campbell & Janet of Bonnyman, Ky., Harold Campbell & Lenora of Bonnyman, Ky., John Campbell & Ruth of Somerset, Ky., Linville Campbell & Sandy of Nicholasville, Ky.; two daughters: Sandra Rex of Bonnyman, Ky., and Tammy Couch & Johnny of Bonnyman, Ky., one sister: Laura Garrett of Hamilton, Ohio; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Campbell will be held at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on East Main Street, Hazard, Ky. on Monday, June 1, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with Eldon Miller and Emmitt Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery located at Rowdy, Kentucky. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Engle-Walker Funeral Home on East Main Street, Hazard, Kentucky.
