Maude Collins Sykes, 85, of Pinetop, died Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the Hazard ARMC. She was born in Spider, Ky., on October 15, 1922 to William Collins and Lucinda Stamper Collins. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Nora Combs, Lettie Brown and Opal Pridemore; 1 brother: Shelby Ray. She is survived by 1 Son and 5 Daughters; 3 Sisters - Ruie Fugate, Jelema Bray and Laura Hall; 14 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel with Mike Caudill officiating. Burial will follow at the Steer Fork Cemetery at Pinetop, Ky.
