Obituary: Haney Combs Dees, January 30, 2006 Hamilton Journal, Hamilton, Ohio Haney DEES, age 95 of Hamilton passes away on Sunday January 29, 2006 in the Butler County Care Facility. Haney was born on June 1, 1910 in Breathitt County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Hiram and Eliza (Gross) Combs. She married Walter Dees, Sr. on March 6, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1979. She had been a member of the Church of The Nazarene. Mrs. Dees is survived by her children Walter Dees, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Athens, Alabama; Nelson C. Dees and his wife Karen of Hamilton, Ohio. Eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren also survive. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Crystal Hacker, a grandson Nelson Dees, Jr., and four brothers and five sisters. Funeral services will be held at The Webb Noonan Funeral Home 240 Ross Avenue at south "D" Street on Thursday February 2, 2006 at 10:00am with Rev. David Hargrave officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
