Leslie Craft, 85, of Louisville, died May 23 at
Rockford Manor Nursing Home in Louisville. A native Letcher Countian, he was
retired from General Motors, and was a member of the Pinal Masonic Lodge #30,
where he'd served as Past Master. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite
Valley of Tucson, Ariz., and El Zaribah Shrine in Phoenix, Ariz., and was an
Army Veteran of W.W.II. Craft was the son of the late Mose and Pollie Kincer
Craft. He was married to the late Natalie Logue Craft, and a brother of the
late Daniel Craft, Denver Craft, Felix Craft, Grover Craft, Clyde Craft, and
Della Kincer. Surviving him are two stepsons, Jim Ripple and Bill Ripple; two
brothers, Owen Craft of Middletown, Ohio, and Landford Craft of Franklin,
Ohio; two sisters, Dallas June Craft of Louisville, and Nellie Wagner of
Middletown, Ohio ; and nine step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held
tomorrow (Thursday) in Louisville, at 2 p.m.. Burial will be in Louisville
Memorial Gardens, West.

Obituary: CRAFT, Lanford C. "Lanny" age 79
of Franklin, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Veterans Administration
Medical Center in Dayton. He was born August 1, 1931 in Mayking, Kentucky the
son of Mose Craft and Polly Kincer Craft. Lanford served in the U.S. Army and
retired from Aeronca after 42 years of service. He was Past Worthy Patron of the
Prosser Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Eastern Star
Masonic Lodge. Mr. Craft was a member of the First Baptist Church. He is
survived by his wife of 54 years, Alma (Haddix) Craft; two sisters, Nellie
Wagner of Middletown, Dallas J. Craft of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Owen
"Ike" (wife, Hazel) Craft of Florida, two special nephews, Jim and Les (Patty)
Wagner; one special niece, Rebecca (Larry) Hasty; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be
1:00 PM Thursday at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Fey officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM Wednesday with Masonic Services at 7:30 PM at
the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home and from 12:00 noon-1:00 PM Thursday
at the First Baptist Church. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery. Memorial
contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund, 4500 Riverview
Avenue, Middletown, OH 45042 or Dayton VA Medical Hospice Care Unit, 4100 W.
