OBITUARY OF OSCAR FLEMING
Oscar Fleming, age 73 of Joe's Branch passed from this life on Wednesday, June 25, 1986 at his residence in Joe's Branch, Kentucky. He was the son of the late James Wesley Fleming and Virgie Stewart Fleming born October 8, 1912 in Myra, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorthy Fleming.
Survivors are four sons: Paul Terry Fleming of Shelby Gap, Kentucky; Thurmun Ray Fleming of Jenkins, Kentucky; Bobby Lee Fleming of Jenkins, Kentucky; and James Wesley Fleming of Cromona, Kentucky; one daughter, Doris Ann Hall of Jenkins, Kentucky, 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Rosie Mullins of Kingsport, Tennessee; Lexie Belcher of Shelby Gap, Kentucky; and Sollie Stanley of Barber, Ohio. Oscar was a member of the Regular Baptist Church and a retired coal miner.
Funeral Service for Oscar Fleming were held at Burdine Freewill Baptist Church Burdine, Kentucky on Saturday, June 28, 1986 at 11 :00 a.m. The Officiating Minister: Rev. John DePriest. Pallbearers: Sons and Grandsons. Burial In family plot of Fleming and Mullins Cemetery Joe's Branch, Kentucky. Polly & Craft Funeral Home of Jenkins, Kentucky in charge of the funeral arrangements.
