OBITUARY OF RABON KEITH FLEMING
We have gathered to mourn the passing of Rabon Keith Fleming. Keith was born on September 21, 1944 at Hemphill, Kentucky. He was the son of Clinton and Lessie (Johnson) Fleming. He passed away Thursday evening, September 5, 2002. He enjoyed his life of 57 years.

His love for the mountains was deep. Family traditions were a way of life for him. He worked at the hospital in Whitesburg and also worked in the coal mines for 30 years. He has been a United Mine Worker of America for many of those years. His ability to do work was never questioned. All his buddies in the mines will tell you what a worker he was and how much he enjoyed coal mining.

Keith was everybody's friend. His willingness to help could always be counted on.

He had a talent for woodworking, knife making and making native American items. Many family members have items that he made and gave to them. He really enjoyed raising animals and caring for them. His gardening abilities showed every year when he raised unusual gourds and flowers.

Keith is survived by his wife, Imogene (Boggs) Fleming; sons: Chad Fleming of Craft's Colley, KY and Clinton Dale Fleming of Neon, KY; daughters: Jenay Hall of Jackhorn, KY and Jennifer Fleming of Neon, KY; sister: Kathy McFall of Fleming, KY; brothers: Teddy Fleming of McRoberts, KY and Chris Fleming of Jackhorn, KY.

He was blessed with five grandchildren. Also surviving are a large number of other relatives and friends to mourn the passing of their friend and neighbor.

Funeral services for Rabon Keith Fleming will be conducted from the Chapel of Banks Funeral Home, Fleming-Neon, KY on Sunday, September 7, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers: relative and friends. Minister: Johnny Johnson. Burial will follow in the Hemphill Cemetery, Jackhorn, KY. Banks Funeral Home of Fleming-Neon, KY in charge of arrangements.
