Anne Jessee Gilmer Walters rode the train from Dayton, OH to Bowling
Green, KY to be with her sister Bertha Sybil for two weeks during the
childbirth because Sybil had a serious infection.

mechanic for fighter aircraft. Stationed in England from June 23, 1943
to August 11, 1945.

BecameLance Corporal, three sets of Service Chevrons. Honorable
Discharge March 9,1945.
