If anyone has an obituary for my Aunt Joy, please contact me. I want to add it to this website along with the names of all of her children.

Uncle Bobby always spent time with us kids and taught all of us how to shoot a bb gun. He was a very gentle and loving uncle and Aunt Joy was also a very wonderful aunt. She was so kind to all of us kids and she would cook wonderful meals for us when we visited their home in Isom, Kentucky. I always loved to visit them. Uncle Bobby was also a coal miner and he also spent the last years of his life on oxygen because of black lung. It was very sad to see him have to go through that. I loved him very much and miss him still today. I have always held a special place in my heart for both Uncle Bobby and my Aunt Joy. They are two very precious memories that I will always treasure.

27 April, 2009: I (Annette Potter) just found a little paragraph in the Mountain Eagle Online Newspaper which stated that my Aunt Joy Fuller passed away in September of 2008. The writer is Oma Hampton; she wrote: Our sympathy goes out to all who have lost loved ones. Joy Fuller of Isom, (Kentucky) died. I went to high school with her. There was a large crowd at her funeral. My good friend, Shirley Breeding, played piano and sang with the church group. They did real well. (written by Oma Hampton, Writer for the Mountain Eagle Newspaper, Whitesburg, Letcher County, Kentucky).

That is all I (Annette Potter) could find about my precious Aunt Joy Fuller. I feel sad that no one contacted me on the death of Joy. She was a very special, lovely person and I'm hurt that I did not find out about her death until afterwards. I am still looking for an obituary and have not found one. When I do find one, I will be sure to add it here...(Annette Potter). Update 18 Aug 2009: I have heard from Jessie Dane Ison, d/o Leona Jo Fuller and she has submitted the following information about Uncle Bobby's and Aunt Joy's family. I am so grateful to her for doing so! Jessie is also going to send photos and Aunt Joy's obituary and I can't wait to get them and add them to the site! Thank you, Jessie!
