I am researching my Maida family and I was told that Vivian Liberto was kin to the Maida family in Beaumont, Texas. Can you tell me if any one in Vivian's family is involved in family research and if so,
can you give me a name and way to contact them?

  Hi to everyone!

I’ve just now had a few moments access to a computer and have edited a little bit on a few of the pages. I still need to add a new addition to the family. Allauna, my brother’s granddaughter has a new daughter and we need to add her to the New Birth pages. I will be doing that in the next few weeks. Don’t want Allauna to think we have forgotten about her. She’s very precious to all of us! Will also add some photos and info about the family as soon as I can get to it.

Thanks to all who have continued to visit us and to all those who have been emailing and leaving messages, I will be sure to answer each one and will also add everything sent to me when I have more free access to the computer.

Also have lots of new info from Hazel Potter Thompson who called and has some wonderful additional information to the Potter family. Can’t wait to get my computer up and running. I believe it will be sometime in mid January 2010 when that occurs.

Love to all,
Annette Potter

  Hi Annette!

I was so happy to find this! My name is Alison Owens, the great granddaughter of "Bud" Baker and Coetta Mullins. Their daughter, Mary Baker, had three children with Buster Hall: Brenda Hall Bartley, Trula Jean Hall and James Hall. My mother is Trula. She passed away in 1982, but Aunt Brenda and Uncle Jim are still doing great up here in Michigan. I would love to add more info to your page. This is the first time I have gotten any info or seen a picture of my great grandparents! Thank You!

I have been crying, heart broken this afternoon. I loved Gary Stewarts music and you are absolutely right...it hit me to my soul.Being born in 1952 when I first heard his song , "I've got this drinkin thing " .....that was it I was hooked.....hook , line and sinker ! I was born an Okie, but my Grandparents and Great Grandparents were born in Kentucky & Tennessee. I pulled more drunks off of that song in my life than any other song in the world. I wouldn't even be in the mood or thinking about drinkin , and here would come Gary singing and I'd pull into the first honky tonk I came across . No tellin how much money in my life I spent in juke boxes listening to him sing. Sometimes, I would just play them over and over, cause I loved his music and voice so much. Well for some unknown reason, today I got on my computer and bought the Essential album of Gary's and even the extra "I've got this drinkin thing mp3 off of Amazon. I knew all the songs on the album, but I had to buy it alone too, don't even know why ! I started to thinking, listening to him singing....what ever happened to Gary , so I asked my computer and there it was. I read all of it and then started crying and couldn't stop. I felt like I had lost my best friend. I actually had to call to try to get into counseling, then called my Dr. which want's to put me on anti-depressants , mon. I am so sorry for this whole family. Shannon, I am just a poor old country girl 57 yrs. old , and have gone through more than i could ever tell in a book , pain , misery, losing loved ones, 2 brothers a sister , Mom , Dad Nephews ......just more than i can write , but if you even need a friend, a pen pal anything in this world , and I can tell me and I will do it .I am so sorry and so sad , today....I just didn't know ! Ruth Groves (rgroves1952@gmail.com ) YAHWEH BLESS YOU !
