July 11, 2010 - 03:10 AM Amanda Atwood Smith - amanda@smithnet1.com My dad's family lived in McRoberts before WWII. My grandfather was George Washington Atwood, and my dad was Thomas Lewis Atwood. My dad passed away 15 years ago, but I wish I had been smart enough to record all of his stories he told me about growing up in McRoberts. I know he worked for Mr. Polly as a soda jerk when he was young. We went back to reunions 30+ years ago, and in 1976, I remember dancing "The Charleston" with Gussie Fuller (I think that was her name). I would love to hear from anyone who might remember my family.
