I think you've gone astray at James Cole 1778. He married Abigail Prey (1779-1837) before he married Lydia Paine. There are children from that marriage, Clarissa, Owen, Alpha,etc.

I am the daughter of Reed J. Hounshell (no. 587)in Hounshell family line. His second wife was Lena Stamm. His third wife died in Tennessee from a stroke. He then married Clarise Sheppard. He died in car crash in Tennessee.

I am the grandaughter of John D. Wright. Whos family moved to Carrolton KY. I would love to access a copy of this if it is in hardback, I believe that it is quite possible that some of these folks may be some of my decendents, non the less it is incredible history. Very good story

My grandfather was William Henry Potter, born in 1895. Creed Potter I, was his Uncle. I haven't been able to contact any of his family until now. I would like to connect with other grandchildren, or cousins, or someone who knew him. Can you help?

Good Evening.. i was born and raise in Hazard, KY. My father was Clarence O Combs and my mother was Gladys Herald Combs. Both of my parents died when I was very young.. trying to trace by some of my family tree.. do you know of my parents or know of any way that I can find out more info? Thanks,

I really enjoyed reading this site. I am the daughter of Woodrow Wilson Hughes, son of Mary Belle Reynolds and grandson of Elihu Reynolds. My father passed away on November 1, 1993. He was married to Martha Hughes, who died November 14, 2003. If anyone out there has any information about my family, I would love to hear it!
