Obituary: Hillard
Hall, age 101, of Pinetop, died January 18, 2009 at his home. He was born in
Knott County on April 3, 1907 to Maryland Hall and Mary Bates Hall. He was
preceded in death by his wife: Maggie Hall; infant son: Douglas Hall; 5
brothers: Arlin, Charlie, Mitchell, Albro and Clay. He is survived by 3
daughters: Carmilla (Estill) Click, Norma Jean (Don) Duncan and Rhoda Charlotte
(Tony) Shumann; sons: James Edward (Mary Jane) Hall and Hillard Jr. (Ann) Hall;
sisters: Mattie McCain, Ethel Conley and Jean Barger; brother: Harold Hall; 7
grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. Funeral
services will be 11AM, Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the Mallett Fork Regular
Baptist Church with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will
follow at the Hall Family Cemetery at Pinetop, Kentucky. Visitation will be at
the Hindman Funeral Services Chapel, Monday after 6PM with additional services
at 7PM.
