HALL, Archie Age 80, of Kenosha, Wisconsin, formerly of Li gon, husbandof Maudie Tackett Hall, passed away, Friday, M arch 12, 2004, at UnitedHospital Systems, Kenosha, Wiscons in. He was born May 11, 1923, inLigon, the son of the lat e Henry Hall and Hattie Tackett Hall. Prior tohis retireme nt, he worked for Coca-Cola in Pikeville, then a coal mine rin West Virginia. Upon settling in Kenosha, he worked fo r AmericanMotors, and later at Ford Sheridan. After retire ment, he was employedwith Kenosha News as a carrier for 1 0 years. He was a member of the VFWPost No. 1865, the John s-Manville Club, the Moose Lodge No. 286, theAmerican Lodg e, and was a U.S. Army WW II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Maudie Tackett Hall; three sons: Roy (Pam) Hall o f Belleville,Michigan, and Walter Hall and Danny Hall, bot h of Kenosha; a daughter,Rose Marie Hall Suokko of Kenosha ; a sister, Ethel Irick of Boldman; 11grandchildren, 10 gr eat-grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren. Hewas pre ceded in death by his parents; four brothers: Arthur, Frank ,Ruben, and Riley; two sisters, Ardie Hamilton and Opal Ha ll; threedaughters: Virginia, Martha, and Mary, all in inf ancy; and a grandson,William R. Shattuck. Funeral service s for Archie Hall will be conductedWednesday, March 17, a t 11:30 a.m., at the Samaria Regular BaptistChurch, at Tea berry, with Regular Baptist ministers officiating. Burialw ill follow in the C.C.H. Bun Hamilton Cemetery, at Teaberry , under theprofessional care of the Hall Funeral Home, a t Martin. Visitation is atthe church. (FCT'S)

With sadness and a very weary heart I will try to write the obituary ofmy mother Rebecca Tackett. She was the daughter of Ben and ElizabethMcCowan Tackett. She was born November 26th, 1896 and passed away May 1,1979, making her stay 82 years 5 months and 6 days. She was married May3, 1917 to Henry Tackett and unto this union was born eight children.Five girls and three boys. Two girls died in infancy. One son and alsoher husband preceded her in death, leaving two sons and three girls.Oliver Tackett of Weeksbury, Kentucky, and Elzie Tackett of Gahanna,Ohio. Gladys McKinney of Weeksbury, Kentucky, Edith Akers of Melvin,Kentucky, and Sadie Johnson of Weeksbury, Kentucky. Mom joined the OldRegular Baptist Church May 30, 1937. She lived a faithful life andattended church as long as she was able. Then after she got sick shewould have the children to ask the Brothers of the Church to come andhave her a little meeting. She was one of the kindest sweetest mothers onearth not only to her children and grandchildren but to all her neighborsand their children and because of her kindness the whole neighborhoodcalled her BeckyMa. She was never too tired as long as she could preparesomething for any that came to eat. Her last few days she would talkmostly to Daddy and her babies. The ones in the hospital said when shesang "Will the Circle be Unbroken" she just seemed so happy.
Then she wanted to know how all the family was at home when we told herall was okay her reply was, "I am going to stay with you a little whileand then I am going on across and the sweetest smile I believe I ever sawcame on her face and was still there as she left this world.
No one knows the heartaches only those who have suffered can say nor ofthe grief that is silent for mother the one we loved so dear.Maybesomeday we will come your way.
Her memorial will be preached the 3rd Saturday and Sunday
in July 1980.

Barbara (Tackett) Caudill
Barbara Caudill, age 64, of Beaver, wife of Arthur Caudill , died

Thursday, July 18, 2002, in the Highlands Regional Medical
Center,
Prestonsburg.
She was born January 23, 1938, in Beaver; a daughter of th e late Tom
and Fannie Hall Tackett. She was a homemaker and a member o f the Samaria
Regular Baptist Church, Teaberry.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ke nneth Ray
Caudill (Tina Lynn) and Arthur Caudill Jr., both of Beaver ; one daughter,
Angela Caudill Gilley (Randy) of Beaver; three brothers, Ge orgie

Tackett, Clifford Tackett, and Hatler Tackett, all of Beave r;
three sisters,
Carolyn Newsome of Beaver, Lacie Teems and Mary Belle Hal l Clayton,
both of Ellijay, Georgia, and two grandchildren, Shane Caud ill and
Brittany Caudill.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by si x brothers,
Thomas Jr., Amos, Willie, Andy Jack, Green and Henry Tacket t; three
sisters, Vernia Paige, Roberta Tackett and Wanda Tackett.
Funeral services for Barbara Caudill were conducted Sunday , July 21, at
noon, in the Samaria Regular Baptist Church, Teaberry, wit h Regular
Baptist ministers officiating.
Burial was in the Caudill Cemetery, Beaver, with Hall Funer al Home,
caring for those arrangements.
