Mabel Hart Schwarzmann died May 16, in Ellicott City, Md. Born in Letcher County
to Kindred C. and Luemma Bates Hart, she was the widow of George M. Mosgrove.
After his death she married the late Joseph Schwarzmann. She was a sister of the
late Malcom Hart, Robert Hart, Verna Banks, Beatrice Pratt, Alapha Amacher,
Hattie Fowler, Mary Day and Nina Jean Ker, and also preceded in death by three
brothers and three sisters who died in infancy or early childhood. Mrs.
Schwarzmann was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Howard County. She
went to Baltimore, Md. during World War II and worked at Martin Aircraft and
later retired from Westinghouse. Surviving are a sister, Hazel McDonald of
Barbourville, and three nieces, Sandra Pratt McManus, with whom she made her
home for the last 15 years, Peggy Pratt Towles of Millersville, Md. and Barbara
Pratt Davis of Annandale, Va.
