Geraldine Combs, 83, died Wed. January 30, 2008 Funeral 1 pm Fri, Blair Branch Church. Visit 11 am Fri at church. Letcher Funeral Home in charge. Services held for Gearldine Combs Funeral services for Gearldine Combs, 83, were held February 1 at the Blair Branch Regular Baptist Church. Burial was in the Combs Cemetery at Isom, Letcher Co KY. A daughter of the late Dewey and Martha Maggard, she died January 30 2008, at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital, Whitesburg, Letcher Co KY. She was the widow of James "Jr." Combs, and the mother of the late Millard Combs. She was a sister of the late Doug Maggard, Eugene Maggard, and Joan Adams. Surviving are a son, Arvil Combs and wife Angie, Isom; two daughters, Faye Holbrook and husband Boots, Isom, and Debbie Caudill and husband Randy, Jeremiah; two brothers, her twin Paul Maggard, Carlisle, and Donald Maggard, Indiana; a sister, Geneva Norris, Isom; 11 grandchildren, and 12 greatgrandchildren; and a daughter-inlaw, Evelyn Combs. Letcher Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
