Obituary - Lewis Holliday, age 80, of Hanover Township, passed away in his Residence, Wednesday, June 2, 1993. He was born in Dryhill, KY the son of Godfrey and Emily Begley Holliday. He was employed at Champion International as a papermaker for 31 years, retiring in 1978. In 1933 in Hyden, KY he was married to Myrtle Bowling and she proceeded him in death in 1991. He is survived by four sons, Harold and his wife, Bonnie Holliday, of Hamilton, Roland and his wife, Cindy Holliday of Cape Coral, Florida, Carl Holliday, of Newport Beach, California and Mark Holliday, of Cape Coral, Florida: one daughter Mallie and her husband Norbert Bippus, of Fairfield: one brother, Elmer Holliday of Seven Mile. Two sisters, Haley Wells, of Dover, Tenn., and Catherine (Katie) Walker of Hamilton, nine grandchildren, Robin, Jimmy, Elizabeth, Cynthia, Marcus, Travis, Nicholas, Garrett, Shantel: Four great grandchildren, Dakota, Marqui, Sierra, Emily. He was proceeded in death by his parents, one son, Lewis Jr., in 1988, two brothers, Monroe and Sidney and One sister, Fannie (Begley) Batson. Funeral services was held at the Brown Dawson Funeral Home, Saturday, at 4:00 PM with Rev Michael J. Holmes, pastor of the West Side Baptist Church Officiating, Burial was in the Millville cemetery. Visitation was held at the funeral Home, Friday, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials are suggested to the Salvation Army of Butler Co.

Obituary - Myrtle Bowling Holliday, age 78 of Hanover township, passed away in Tri-County Extended Care, on Friday. September 6, 1991 at 1:30 AM. She was born in Manchester, Kentucky, the daughter of Wilson and Isabelle Bowling. She was a member of the West Side Baptist Church and the Washington, Chapter #195 Order of the Eastern Star. In 1933 in Hyden, KY she was married to Lewis Holliday. Her husband, Lewis, of Hamilton survives her, four sons, Harold and his wife, Bonnie Holliday of Hamilton, Roland and his wife, Cindy Holliday of Florida, Carl Holliday, of Los Angeles, California: One daughter, Mallie and her husband Norbert Bippus of Fairfield: Three sisters, Mallie Bowling and Eva Hacker, both of London, KY, Mittie Roberts of Trenton, Ohio, eight grandchildren, Robin, Jimmy, Elizabeth, Cynthia, Marcus, Travis, Nicholas, and Garett: a great grandchild, Dakota and other relatives and friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents, a son Lewis Jr., in 1988 and three brothers, Bryan, Lloyd, and Burley and a sister, Sophia Lipps. Funeral Services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home Monday at 10:00 AM, with Rev Michael Holmes, pastor of the West Side Church, officiating. Burial was in the Millville Cemetery. Visitation was held at the funeral Home Sunday from 2:00-5:00 PM and the Eastern Star Chapter 195 will hold services at 4:30 PM at the funeral Home.
