My name is Lynne Jessee Kastal. My great-grandfather was AlbertMartinJessee, great-grandmother Demarias Jessee. All of my nearrelatives arein Kingsport, TN.
My father is Leroy Jessee Jr. He recently retired and is now an
enthusiastic woodworker. He's really done some nice work.
My grandfather is Leroy Jessee Sr. He is deceased. He had diabetes.Heserved in WWII in the Navy aboard the destroyer USS Trathen. He didhavesiblings but my info is sketchy. He had a brother named "Red". Ihaveno idea what his real name was. Red was married to Myrtle. Ibelievethey had a son named Leroy Jessee who died at the age of 18-19fromdrowning. Red and Myrtle also had a daughter named Linda. Redand Leroyare buried at Oak Hill cemetary in Kingsport, TN. I believetheirpicture is on their tombstone.
I believe there was another brother as well, deceased. Don't haveaname. May have been married to Amelia Owney?
And, I believe there was a sister. Gwen Jessee.
My father also has a brother, Larry Wayne Jessee who served intheVietnam War and has a purple heart.
I have a sister, Cynthia Demarias Jessee who lives in Kingsport.
Albert Martin Jessee is recorded as dying in Oct. 1973 in St. Paul,

I did want to send some documentation regarding William Henry StoneandMary Jane Stanley. Attached is a copy of the death certificate fortheirson, George Washington Stone. It shows Mary Jane's maiden nameasStanley.
I have already found two errors in text noted as being from amarriagebook, I do not know if the same book has both errors. I knowone showsMary Jane's name as "Stamper" and with the handwriting, I canunderstandhow it could be misread. I know that there are also errorsin themarriage of Benjamin Franklin Stone and Elizabeth Hallix in1916, theinformation on his parents is not from the correct line, itis from theline above his actual parents. I can also see how this caneasilyhappen.

The birth mother was a youngschoolgirl andcatholic and the father worked at the Roanoke Timesoffice bldg. Tacy must have had quite a penchant forWilliam Stones;this would have made the third linked to her. Alas, Ican help with thisWilliam. I personally know several descendentsthrough this line andhave been trying to match the progenitor,Jeremiah, with my Stones, to noavail so far. and another neighbor, next door, is his ex wife Mary Manerva Morgan
("Manervey") the mother of Morgan T. Reynolds, Kentucky, Maryland,Mary,and William Cody Reynolds. One child not on this census wasactually bornafter 1900. Her name is Amanda.
Also I have a photo of Joseph C. Reynolds (b. about 1847-1850) takenin1927 he died in 1928 (Identified and dated according to my 81 yearold1/2 brother James W. Reynolds (b.1920) and according to the back ofthephoto which was labeled by his son Coleman (b.1892). Found Joseph Coleman Reynolds Sr. b. 1847 instead of 1848 buriedrighthere in Washington not in 1928 but 1930. ...and now have hisdeath recordwhich gives us exact dates. also has his parents listed asNoah Reynoldsand Chaney Stone on his death record. Mary Chaney Stone Iam told is thedaughter of Frances Jessee and William Stone.Here is the Death Record of Joseph Reynolds which you can useasreference for correcting the dates on your site.
