Commentator Edwards praised the aggressive sellingmethods ofTip Collinsworth, owner of the company.Collinsworth, J. T., age 69, a lifetime resident of Irving and nearly40year employee of Bell Helicopter, died Sunday, April 27, 2003 inBedford.Born October 10, 1933 in Irving, he served in the US Marinesand was amember of the Elks Lodge. Married to Eugenia LangstonNovember 20, 1955at Kaufman. GUYMON - David Neil Collinsworth, 77, lifelong area resident, passedawayMonday, April 11, 2011.The son of Ethel Matilda (McBride) and Tom Collinsworth, he wasbornAugust 31, 1933, in Hardesty. He attended Hardesty schools,graduatingfrom Hardesty High School. David was a talented carpenterand alwaysenjoyed working with his hands. He loved his family,friends, pets, andneighbors, treating them all with kindness andgenerosity with whatlittle he had. He also selflessly devoted hisenergy to caring for hisparents and wife in their times of need.Survivors include a daughter,Rita Hunter-Rauh; son, Rick Collinsworth;three step-children, JoyceRogers, Brian Ketcherside and JasonKetcherside; two sisters, Ida Ray andOcie Lue Snodgrass; and manynieces, nephews, and friends. He waspreceded in death by his parents,brother Bill Collinsworth, sister DovieMorris, and wife SherlynKetcherside.
Friends and family are invited to pay tribute to David“s lifeonSaturday, May 7th at 3:00 PM the Hardesty Senior Citizens' Center.Thememorial will conclude with a graveside service at HartvilleCemetery. Mrs. Ketcherside was born May 22, 1948, in Guymon. She attendedtheChurch of the Nazarene. Our beloved William Harold (Bill) Collinsworth went home to be withhisLord on January 20th, 2007. He was born June 26, 1927 in Tyrone,OK toTom and Ethel Collinsworth. Bill lived in Guymon from 1950 until1995 andspent the last 12 years of retirement in the Lake Tenkillerarea. He issurvived by his wife Phyllis of the home, sons Rodney andwife C.J. ofPark Hill, OK, and Tracy and his wife Connie of Guymon,OK. He is alsosurvived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren;2 sisters, OcieSnodgrass and Ida Ray, and one brother David. He isalso survived by manynieces, nephews and great friends. Bill was aWWII veteran, serving inthe Navy for 9 years. He graduated from DowneyUnion High School,California in 1945. Bill worked in car sales forWadley Chevrolet andHinchey Ford in Guymon. He was an active member ofthe First BaptistChurch of Tahlequah. Bill loved boating, fishing andspending time withfamily and friends. He was preceded in death by hisparents Tom and Etheland one sister, Dovie. Bill was deeply loved andrespected by many andwill be sorely missed.
