My Dad is still alive but I have never met any relatives on his sideofthe family. He was born in Harris, Missouri on 12/26/1925. He wasnamedFletcher Robert Stinson but goes by Robert F. Stinson since hisdays inthe military. He does not have any brothers or sisters but hedid havehalf brothers and sisters from his father's first marriage toMary AliceKiser. There is quite an age difference between them.
There must have been a few people from Russell County that movedtoMissouri because his family and those around him were referred to astheVirginians.
I see that my great great grandfather John T Stinson born around1811married Nancy Jessee born around 1816. My great grandfather wasRobertStinson (born 1839) who married Margaret Musick.
The website provides a lot of interesting and useful information, andallowed me to confirm the information I've acquired to date.

"I called Orville Kiser today. He is still alive and has just turned90!He said he renewed his driver's license for another four yearsandlaughed! I finally made the Kiser/Jones/Jesse connection. FrancisKiser(a daughter of Noah Kiser and Dicey Thompson (Noah Kiser's fatherwasAbednego Kiser and mother was Mary Jessee) married Steven Jones. Ifoundthis on Ancestry.com. After remembering that my dad told me thatStevewas married to Francis Kiser. My Aunt Dixie confirmed that.Theproblems is that Steve and Francis
had two twin daughters--Suzie (my great-grandmother) and hertwin,Emiline. Ancestry.com doesn't list them as children but lists aStevenJones Jr. instead. I have never heard mention of him before.
So that is how I am a Kiser and a Jesse. Orville told me thatthephoto/sketch of Noah Kiser was of the first Kiser to come to CarterCo,Ky from Germany [probably not so]. Help me with the name thinghere--whatkind of names are Absolom and Abednego? Are they biblical?
My Aunt Dixie told me that the Jessee's are Jewish because Jessee isoneof the twelve tribes of Israel. I also found out that Nancy Jessee(whowas married to Daniel Jesse) was a Counts though I am not sure ifit wasby marriage to her first husband."

Source: Jennifer Jesse (JLJesse@aol.com) sent, 6/19/2000,informationregarding Stephen Jones. "My name is Jennifer Jesse. SuzieJones (Mygreat-grandmother) was the daughter of Steve Jones (aCherokee) andFrancis Kiser whose father was Noah Kiser. There weretwo Noah Kisers inmy family--Suzie married the other Noah. To myknowledge, Noah (thefather of Francis) was half Cherokee. I have aphoto of a photo of himthat I obtained from Orville Kiser in OliveHill. I also have a photo ofSteve Jones as well as photos of Suzieand her daughter (my grandmother),Grace Jones Jesse. He was married toFrancis (who I think was a Kiser andthe daughter of Noah Kiser). Hewas a full blooded Cherokee who wasrecruited by the South as a RebelScout because of his horsemanship. Hewas relocated from NorthCarolina to Oklahoma in the Indian removal as asmall child. After theCivil War, he settled in Olive Hill, KY. Mygrandma Jesse told meabout him many times. She had his uniform but itburned in a fire whenshe was little. Her mother (my great-grandmother)was Suzie Jones(daughter of Steve Jones). I think that Steve Jones was aname given tohim when he joined the Army. He had an Indian name but Idon't knowwhat it was and can't locate any records. Suzie had a twinsister,Emiline. The were not identical twins. I didn't know Emilinebut knewSuzie."

I have a query [or correction] about Jefferson Thomas Kiser. You'reshowing that he married Sarah Catherine (Combs) Gent on 2 feb1868.Please note this link:
http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/af/family_group_record.asp?familyid=6636800
(note: the entire link has to be one line in the address portion ofyourbrowser)
His marriage to Sarah Catherine seems to only have lasted two and ahalfmonths, then he married my great grand aunt as documented in theaboveurl. I believe Victoria and Dica were spawned with SarahElizabeth andnot Sarah Catherine. Sarah Elizabeth is the dau ofWesley Fantley Fultzand Silva Stamper, my 2nd great grandparents.

Note also that there are many variations on the spelling of Silva'sfirstname. The spelling above was taken directly from her tombstoneat BethelCemetery. Wesley donated the land for the Bethel Cemeteryand church.

I found your data on Abraham Childers. I am descended fromElishaChilders and Elizabeth "Betsy" Hurst, Archibald Childers born1828, JohnWashington Childers born 1858, and Lourhna Rahana (mygrandmother). Ihave no one left in this line except twin sisters (88years old) who wereborn the year John Washington and his wife died offood poisoning. Theyknow nothing of the family as they lived with mygrandmother and her fourbabies. We also have Roberts in our familyline (I have old pictures ofthree members of the family).

1056. Elizabeth "Biddy" (Bridget Elizabeth Kiser /Verbidia) (Kaiser)

The Census Records upon which this family's record is based has11children, the youngest a child named "Biddy." Material provided byCarinVance and John Wallace Sr. shows a grandmother named Elizabeth"Bridget"Kiser, b. 1850, a daughter of Noah Kiser and Dicey Thompson.Could therebe a confusion about "Biddy" or "Bridget" and are thesepossiblenicknames for Elizabeth.

This is a conjecture that"Biddy" was a nickname for Elizabeth, aboutwhomwe have a record that she was a daughter of Noah Kiser andDiceyThompson, and married William Henry Meade.

It is possible that Biddy and Elizabeth are two different individuals, orthat Elizabeth is not a daughter of this family.

Virginia and Dicie (Boadica, my great grandmother) were the childrenofWilliam Henry Meade and Verbidia 'Biddy' Kaiser Meade. At the timeofDicie's death in 1952, Virginia was listed as living in Ranier,Oregon.I do not know anything else on Virginia. I have found some outon theMeade's and several sources list 'Biddy' as being BridgettElizabethKiser Meade. In my great grandmother's obit however it islisted as Iwrote it above. I do not know where any of them are buriedexcept mygreat grandparents. I did find Henry and Biddy in Carter Co.in a 1880census and my aunts and uncles said my grandmother used totalk of CarterCo. I have seen several rootsweb projects for Wm HenryMeade as well asBiddy's lineage. I am unsure of how much of the infois correct. My ggrandmother, Boadica 'Dicie' married John HenryBentley s/o RobertBentley and 'Chaddie' Blankenship. I am stillresearching those lines aswell. I would be happy to pass along anyother info that I have, justlet me know what you would like.
