CATHERINE RING b about 1750, m. SAMUEL KEITH, s/o CORNELIUS KEITH. Samuel Keith
was killed by Indians in Buncombe Co, NC. Children of Samuel Keith & Catherine
Ring were;
1. HENRY KEITH b 1750.
2. GABRIEL KEITH b 1755, Bortertort Co, NC. GABRIEL KEITH was in the 1800 Census
of Buncombe Co, NC.
3. MARY POLLY KEITH b about 1759, Bortetort Co, NC, she
had a real hatred for Indians all her life, as her father Samuel Keith was
killed by Indians just before she was born.
4. RUEBEN KEITH b 1774, Buncombe Co NC. Rueben Keith was found in the 1800
Census of Buncombe Co, NC.

MARY POLLY KEITH'S b about 1759 Buncombe Co,
NC d early 1800's Perry Co, KY m. JAMES RITCHIE
b 1751 Scotland. Mary Polly Keith moved back to Virginia after her husband died,
he was drowned, crossing Carrs Creek in 1818, a branch of Troublesome Creek in
Perry Co, KY. JAMES RITCHIE served in the 2nd Virginia State Regiment in the
Revolutionary War. JAMES RITCHIE. was buried in 1818 in Perry Co, KY. Children
