89. Isaac C. Lane

Lived in Washington Co, VA (from Irma Lane Snodgrass).
Irma Lane Snodgrass said Edward Anderson Lane's parents were William &
Eliza (or Emma) Collins, butthis is not consistent with Washington
Co, VA census records. His name may have been William Isaac, and he
may have married a second time. Edward Lane's marriage only gave
mother's name of Mina, which is consistent with Jemima. Joseph Robert
Lane gave parents as Isaac & Ima Lane. Again, Ima is Jemima.

Isaac left Gemima and at some point we find him in the Lipps District.
This is where Jackson Lane was so I am thinkingthat there may be
something there. Isaac could have picked another area so maybe he went
there knowing he had a half brother there? (from Patty Lane Purvis,
