2001) at Brookhaven Health Care.
Shewas born in Scott County, Va. on Nov. 7, 1941 and was the daughter
of the late Clarence and Stella Lane Baker.
In addition to her parents, she was precededin death by a nephew,
Scott Baker.
Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Briscoe (Glenda) Arnold, Gate City, Va.,
and Mrs. James (Deanna) Parrott, Kingsport; brothers and
sister-in-law, Darrell and Lucille Baker, Ft. Blackmore, Va., and
Terry Baker, Duffield, Va.; two nieces and three nephews; three
special friends, Sharlie Houseright, Rita Tipton and Bobbie Reed.
Calling hours are from 6to 8 p.m. today at Colonial Funeral Home,
Weber City, Va., or anytime at theresidence of a brother, Darrell
Baker.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m.today in the funeral home chapel
with the Rev. Walker Darnell and the Rev. Raymond Hammonds
officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Hall-Dingus
Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, Va.

Ellis Robert Lane, age 86, of Coeburn, passed away Sunday, Sept. 26,
2004 at Norton Community Hospital.
Ellis loved to ginseng hunt. He also liked to make homemade knives and
walking canes.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester Patton andMary
Jane Kerns Lane; a son, Glenn Allen Lane; two sisters; and infant twin
sisters.
His survivors include his wife, Francis Harvey Lane; daughter, Wanda
Penley and husband Jackie; four sons and wives, Dale and Betty,
Norman, Gary and Vickey, all of Coebum, David and Linda, St. Paul; 13
grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. at Estes
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Younce officiating.

Tuesday (Dec. 9, 2003) at Indian Path Medical Center.
Mrs. Brickey was a lifelong resident of Scott County, Va., but had
lived with her daughter in Kingsport for the last 21/2 years. She was
a homemaker and was of theApostolic faith. She loved people and
babies and had alot of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Graham Brickey Sr.;
parents, Sylvester and Mary Kerns Lane; sister, Stella Baker; twin
sisters, Lillian and Laura Lane.
She is survived by her daughter, Sona and husband James Bingham,
Kingsport; son, Donnie and wife Jennifer Brickey, Dungannon, Va.;
stepdaughter, Emily Johnson, Nickelsville, Va.; stepson, George Graham
Brickey Jr., Kingsport; very special grandsons, Marshall Alan and wife
Michelle Brickey, DavidJon and wife Cassie Brickey; six
stepgrandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; brother, Ellis
Lane, Coeburn, Va.; very special nephews and nieces.
