Merl Elaine Thompson

She worked as a waitress while going to college, and became a school
teacher.
She received her Masters Degree in education from Marshall and became
a
principal at Whitman Grade School at Logan, WV. She had red hair.
She had an aneurysm in her neck surgically repaired as a young adult.
In her
50s she developed a tumor in her hip which was treated surgically and
with
chemotherapy at the Univ of Fla. After remission for four years, the
cancer
returned and she died at age 63.
