An e-mail note from Jan Parks (Janlee52@aol.com) said that Mary Jane
__? m. Francis Parks and had two children, Ira and William Thomas. She
also had a son Jimmy Delp out of wedlock. Mary Jane m. a Lane. She has
a picture of Mary Jane with Barnett Lane and other family membersthat
was taken about 1914 on Blackwater Ridge, and she thought that he may
have been her husband. She wondered if the "Barnett" Lane in the photo
was the Robert Lane in the 1920 Hancock Co census. I concluded that
this was true because 1) William Parks lived 2 houses away from Robert
Lane in 1920 and 2) Ira Parks m. Robert Lane's daughter. (11/4/1998)

given.
In Hancock County Tennessee andit's people, Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, Robert
is not listed as being buried in Hancock County so he may have been
buried with family in VA. after his death. Theonly Mary that I find
is Mary G. Lane b. March 1954 and died 1926. That is about the correct
date, but the middle initial is incorrect. The Mary listed is buried
