Grace Trent

KINGSPORT - Grace Trent Lane, 85, of Kingsport, is now at peace with
the Lordfollowing her death on Monday (Dec. 6, 2004) at Wellmont
Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Lane was born in Hancock County, however, spent the majorityof
her life in Kingsport. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded indeath by her husband, James B. Lane; parents,
James and Mary Trent; one daughter, Jimmie Ruth Lane; and several
sisters and brothers.
Surviving are two sons, Virgil Lane and wife Penny, and Bill Lane and
wife Mary, all of Kingsport; three grandchildren, Lori Hackler, Joe
Lane and Jamey Lane; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy
Snapp Neeley; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Oak Hill Funeral Home.
Serviceswill be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel
with Pastor Jason McIntosh officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Oak Hill Memorial
Park. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet
in the cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
Mark Cody, Dan Cody and Roger Cody will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The staff of Oak Hill Funeral Home is serving the Lane family.

TALBOTT, Tenn. - Carl Estepp, 90, passed away Tuesday (Feb. 4, 2003)
at his home.
He wasborn on the family farm in the Manville community of Scott
County, Va., to Hiram P. and Angeline Estepp on Nov. 6, 1912. He was a
longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his his wife of 53 years, Lucille Boy
Estepp; brothers, Audley and Garland Estepp; sister, Norma Bailey; and
son-in-law, Fred Stirewalt.
Surviving are a daughter, Helen Stirewalt, with whom he made his home;
grandchildren, David Trent and wife Karen of Drakesboro, Ky., and
Melissa Watts and husband Mike of Jefferson City; great-grandchildren,
Eric and Amanda Watts of Jefferson City, Eddie Trent of Drakesboro,
Ky.; brothers, Cecil Estepp of Gate City, Va., and Elbert Estepp of
Kingsport; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today atFielden Funeral Home in
New Market, Tenn.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel
with the Rev. Coy Warren and the Rev. Bill Crider officiating.
Interment will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Jefferson Memorial
Garden.
