Named in Berniece Dooley's obituary.
Not listed as a child in Donna Darnell Sisco's file.
Lived in Gate City in 2002. (as Darnell)
Cassie is the dau of Mary Katherine Darnell and Paul Lawson. And Mary
is the dau of Rev. Charles Otis Darnell Senior and Lottie B Corder. I
didn't know about it until my aunt's sister called me the other day.
My cousins sure are having a bad time of it right now. Aunt Lottie
fell afterwardsand broke a small bone in her leg. I don't have a lot
about Mary's family. I'm not even sure if Paul and Mary were ever
married. I think Paul is a brother to Johnny Lawson, or somehow
related, and Paul died young. Aunt Lottie didkeep Cassie when she was
younger and practicly raised her. Brenda, Mary's sister, told me that
Cassie would be buried next to Uncle Otis and Ruth Ann in the Corder
cemetery. (From: Donna Sisco <j_e_anie@yahoo.com> to Joe Adams,
