Creda Isaacs hadher name as Minnie Marilda and Minnie Melvina. Creda
indicated a child GeorgeWashington Ross born 10/25/1879, so he was
probably the Dutton Lane, age 1,with family in 1880 Sullivan Co
census.
Creda Isaacs indicated marriage to Jim or John Ross, possibly in Scott
Co, VA or Lawrence Co, KY. I could not find the marriage in Scott Co,
VA or Sullivan Co, TN, so it was probably in Lawrence Co.
Her marriage to Elcainey Baker was witnessed by Alford Lane, probably
her uncle.

must have been a mistake because that couple cannot be found. Other
facts fit parents as John and Lucinda. Wife listed in 1910 census is
Sarah- it should be Jane, his second wife. The children in 1910 are
from his 1stmarriage to Sarah. In 1910 census, he said it was his 2nd
marriage, and he had been married 0 yrs.
The first marriage to Sarah Baldwin is confirmed by living next door
to her parents, Lilburn & Polly Baldwin, in 1910 and with daughters
Mary and Martha shown in both families. Two children are with the
grandparents in 1920 (Floyd).
In marriage records to Sarah Baldwin, he gave birth place as KY, but
everywhere else it is Scott Co, VA.

of age and their living close each other, and on the advise of Billye
