Lived in Kingsport in 1978.
Name & husband's name from Delmar Fraysier.
KINGSPORT - Elizabeth McClellan Campbell, 80, went home to be with her
heavenly father early Monday morning (Jan. 20, 2003) at Greystone
Health Care in Blountville.
She was born in Scott County, Va. (Midway), but had lived all of her
adult life in Kingsport.
Mrs. Campbell was a member of Mount Pleasant MethodistChurch, Midway,
Va. She was retired as a dental assistant with over 58 yearsof
service.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wylie E. Campbell; daughter,
Janie Elizabeth Campbell; parents, Walter Robert McClellan and Monnie
Vermillion McClellan.
Surviving are daughters, Carole C. Hite, Kingsport, Linda K. Carroll
and husband William (Lynn), Church Hill; grandson, Daniel E. Hite and
wife Vickie, Angier, N.C.; great-granddaughter, Megan Elizabeth Hite;
brothers, Wayne McClellan and wife Betty, Mooresville, N.C., M.O.
"Mack'' McClellan and Richard "Dick'' McClellan and wife Norma, both
of Kingsport; several nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt gratitude goes out to all of her caring and loving
neighbors and friends.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home,
downtown Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home
chapel with the Rev. Paul Lane officiating.
Burial will be in Holston View Cemetery.
Pallbearers will befamily and friends.

5999. Wayne Randolph McClellan

Lived in Mooresville, NC in 2003.
MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Wayne Randolph McClellan, 75, died Wednesday (Aug.
20, 2003) at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center.
Born Aug. 4, 1928 in Gate City, Va., he served in the U.S. Marine
Corps from1947-1952 in the Mediterranean during World War II and in
the Korean Conflict. He retired from Union Carbide, Y-12, in Oak
Ridge, Tenn., after 35 years as a supervisor in the metal fabrication
division.
Mr. McClellan truly enjoyed his work, having received numerous awards
and commendations. He also workedfor Pathway Bellows in Oak Ridge,
Tenn. Mr. McClellan enjoyed yardwork, reading, traveling, horse
racing, tinkering with tools and repair work for familyand friends.
He was a most beloved husband, father and granddaddy.
Mr. McClellan was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Campbell.
He is survived byhis wife of 53 years, Betty Lehman McClellan;
daughter, Jennifer Warren and husband Stephen of Mooresville, N.C.;
son, Tom McClellan and wife Rebekah of Cleveland, Tenn.; brothers,
Richard McClellan and Octor McClellan, both of Kingsport;
grandchildren, Robert McClellan of Chattanooga, Candice Reed of
Nashville, Tenn., Kyle Warren, a student at Appalachian State
University, and Rachel Warren of Mooresville, N.C.; numerous nieces
and nephews; and sister-in-law, Norma.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Cavin-Cook
Funeral Home Chapel, Mooresville, N.C., with the Rev. Ike Kennerly
officiating.
Family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Memorialsmay be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

KINGSPORT - Mr. Oferyl J. (Junior) Reed, 83, entered into eternal rest
Saturday (June 1, 2002) at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Reed was born in Scott County, Va., on April 6, 1919, son of the
late Oferyl J. and Letha Wampler Reed.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II, alife
member of the V.F.W. and a member of the American Legion.
He was an elder and member of the Lynn Garden Evangelical Presbyterian
Church.
In addition to his parents, his wife, Sara Francis Johnson Reed on
January 11, 2002; granddaughter, Sara Ann Reed; and great-grandson,
Reed Landon Larkins precededhim in death.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Betty and James Hall,
Arlington, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Reed,
Kingsport;grandchildren, Tina Larkins, Kingsport, Rodney Hall,
Herndon, Va., and Andy Hall, Woodbridge, Va.; five
great-grandchildren; stepsister, Monette Quillin,Weber City, Va.;
brother, Claude Reed, Weber City, Va.; and 10 nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Gate City
Funeral Home and other times at the residence of David and Nancy Reed,
Kingsport.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Gene Falin
Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Ministers Bob Underwood and
John Schwartz and Elder Jim Burchfield officiating.
The Charles DeWitt Byrd Post #3382 of the V.F.W.will conduct military
graveside services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holston View Cemetery.
Grandsons, nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Contributions may be made to the Lynn Garden Evangelical Presbyterian
Church.
The family will be meeting at 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home to go in
procession to the graveside service.

Sara Frances Johnson

KINGSPORT - Sara Francis Reed, 79, entered into rest Friday (Jan. 11,
2002) at Wexford House.
She was born on December 23, 1922 in Kentucky, to the late John and
Audrey Pierson Johnson.
Mrs. Reed was a member of Lynn Garden Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
She was a self-employed seamstress and an avid artist and homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Oferyl J. Reed, of The Place at Kingsport;
one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and James Hall, Arlington, Va.;one
son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy Reed, Kingsport; one sister,
Jane McArthur, Gate City, Va.; two brothers, Thomas B. Johnson,
Kingsport, andJohn D. Johnson, Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren,
Tina Larkins, Kingsport, Rodney Hall, Herndon, Va., and Andy Hall,
Woodbridge, Va.; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and
nephews.
Calling hours will be from 5 to7 p.m. Monday at Gate City Funeral
Home, and anytime at the residence of David and Nancy Reed.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday in the Gene Falin Memorial
Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Underwood, Elder Jim
Burchfield and the Rev. Jonathan Schwartz officiating.
Music will be provided by Brian Henry.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Holston ViewCemetery,
Weber City, Va.
The family will be meeting at the funeral home at12:15 p.m. to go in
procession to the graveside service.

KINGSPORT - Freda Ailene Dockery, 74, went to be with the Lord after a
lengthy illness on Thursday (Dec. 9, 2004) at GreystoneHealth Care
Center in Blountville.
She was born in Kingsport, graduated fromDobyns-Bennett High School,
and lived most of her life here. She loved the art of "Silk Bunka," as
well as crocheting. She attended the First Church of God in Johnson
City and retired from AFG as an executive secretary in 1992.
She had a great love of family and friends and will be missed by all
who knewher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Nelson Taylor and Mary
Ailene Enix Taylor; her first husband, Joseph Peak; her two sons, Gary
Peak and Mike Peak; a sister, Pauline Swaney; and a brother, Donald
Nelson Taylor.
Surviving are her husband of 19 years, Bobby Gene Dockery of the home;
two stepdaughters, Melinda Dockery of Lexington, Ky., and Lisa Love
and husband Rob of Johnson City; a stepson, Lattie Dockery and wife
Carolyn of Johnson City; five step-grandchildren; her sister, June
Taylor Hilton and husband Robertof Kingsport; as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from5 to 7 p.m. today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home,
downtown Kingsport.
Serviceswill be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel
with Dan Stansberry officiating.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Mountain Home
National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tenn. Family and friends are asked
to meet at the cemetery by 10:45 a.m.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport, is serving the Dockery
family.
