WEBER CITY, Va. - Lakie Myrtle Williams Sanders departed this life
early Wednesday (Sept. 17, 2003).
She was a native ofScott County, Va., and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband,Charlie B. Sanders; parents,
Andrew Williams and Callie Pendleton Williams; sister, Amber Bostic;
brothers, Alvin Williams and Kyle Williams; special son-in-law, Marlin
Jennings.
Surviving are her daughters, Glen (Lynn) Robinson,Moresville, N.C.,
Ann Jennings, Weber City, Va.; son, Donald Wayne (Mary) Sanders,
Kingsport; grandchildren, Denise, Francis, Cendy Chatham, Kristie Fink
and Kevin Sanders; great-grandchildren, Heather Chatham, Hanna
Chatham, Jeffrey Chatham, Tanner Fink, Austin Francis and Brady
Sanders.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Scott County
Funeral Home, Weber City,Va.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel
with the Rev. Bob Ray Lane and the Rev. Kenneth Neeley officiating.
Interment will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holston View Cemetery.
