KINGSPORT Kathleen Martin (Cutler), 73, passed away Friday evening
(July 23, 1999) at Holston Valley Hospital and MedicalCenter
following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Cutler was a member of First Assembly Church of the Lord Jesus
Christ and was attending First Apostolic Church of the Lord Jesus
Christ.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father.
Surviving are two daughters, Lana Jones, Johnson City and Lorraine
Martin (Rene), Kingsport; one son and daughter-in-law, Don E. and
Sandra Martin, Kingsport; three granddaughters, Lisa Jones, Linda
Jones and Krista Sawyer; one great-granddaughter, Kara Sawyer; two
sisters, Mary Showalter and Stella Fritz, both of Kingsport; brother,
Pierson Lane; several nieces and nephews.
Herfamily and friends will always remember her as a great prayer
warrior.

Saturday (July 21, 2001) at Holston Valley Medical Center after a
brief illness.
Son ofthe late James Farley Lane Jr. and Eva Mae Spangler Lane
Thacker, he was bornin Scott County, Va. on October 3, 1937.
Surviving are his daughters, ShirleyJean Lane Collins, Gate City, and
Jeanne Ann Lane, Denver, Colo.; son, Kenneth Eugene Lane, Gate City;
former wife, Shirley Lane, Gate City; grandchildren, Glenna Light, Bud
and Charlie Collins, Shawn and Nakisha Lane and Mason Hansen;
great-granddaughter, Morgan Light; brother and sister-in-law, James
Porter and Barbara Lane, Wise, Va.; half brothers and sister-in-law,
Billy andShirley Thacker, Ft. Blackmore, Va., and Danny Wayne Thacker
Sr., Gate City;stepfather, Elmer Thacker, Gate City; several nieces
and nephews.

Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. James Teb Carter officiating.

Family Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, Va.
