7846. Judy Kathleen McClellan

Lived in Kingsport.
KINGSPORT - Judy Kathleen McClellan Hubmann went to be with her
Heavenly Father and Mother on Sunday (Dec. 7, 2003).
She will be lovedand missed by all and she will be with us always.
Her mother, Violet Agnes McClellan, and her father, Willard Emerson
(Major) McClellan; and her grandparents preceded her in death.
Her eternal companion, Ray Hubmann; her sons and daughters, Brian
Hubmann, Brad Hubmann, Warren Hubmann, Kathy Duncan and Rachael
Hubmann; her daughters-in-law, Susan, Vanessa and Stacey; and her
son-in-law, Ross Duncan, survive her. Also surviving are her
grandchildren, Dustin,Caleb Joshua, J.D., Kelsey, Alexa, Gracie and
Bradley. She also leaves her sisters, Yvonne Hunley, Betty Shelhorse
and Amy Lawson; her mother-in-law, Virginia Dare Hubmann; and her
father-in-law, John G. Hubmann; and several nieces, nephews and
cousins whom she loved greatly.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:50 p.m. today at the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Netherland Inn Road.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the church with Bishop
LeGrande Boyer officiating.
Graveside services will be heldat 11 a.m. Wednesday. Family and
friends are requested to meet at 10:30 a.m.at Oak Hill Funeral Home
in order to go in procession to the gravesite.
Dustin, Caleb, Joshua and J.D. Hubmann and Chad Lawson, Bradley
Rosser, Chuck Thomas and Chris Shelhorse will serve as active
pallbearers.
Doug Wampler, Terry Lawson, Dan Shelhorse and Gerald Hunley will serve
as honorary pallbearers.
Flowers may be sent to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints. Donations may be made in Mrs. Hubmann's name to Wellmont
Hospice House, 280 Steeles Road, Bristol, Tenn. 37620.
The staff of Oak Hill Funeral Home is servingthe Hubmann family.Lived
at Knoxville in 1995, 98, 99.


7851. William David Strong

He lived at Fall Branch, TN, and was a lifelong resident of the area.
He was
employed by Kingsport Armature & Electric. He died of injuries from an
automobile accident.


James Henry "Jim" Byrd

Lived at Gate City in 2000.
GATE CITY, Va. - James Henry (Jim) Byrd Sr., 51, Ravine Street,
departed this life Thursday (Oct. 25, 2001) at Wellmont HospiceHouse
in Bristol.
A native of Scott County, Va., he was a member of Gate City Fire
Department with 34 years of service. He was an ambulance driver.
Hewas a member of Midway Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Archie Byrd and
Lovely Mae McDavid Byrd; and several aunts and uncles.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis L. Byrd, Gate City, Va.; a son, James
H.Byrd Jr., Gate City, Va.; three sisters and brothers-in-law,
Carolyn and Teddy Douglas Pendleton, Judy Ann and Billy Addington, and
Cathy Diane and Charles Robert Fields, all of Gate City, Va.; three
brothers and sisters-in-law, William Nelson and Veda Byrd, Merritt
Island, Fla., Donald Eugene and CarolynQuillen Byrd, Blountville, and
Richard Allen and Diane Byrd, Kingsport; and several nieces and
nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at theMidway Baptist
Church.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday at the church with the
Rev. George Willis and the Rev. Paul Allison officiating.
Music will be provided by the Midway Quartet.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday inHolston View Cemetery.
Friends will meet at the funeral home at 12 noon to goto the
cemetery.
Pallbearers will be deacons of Midway Baptist Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Gate City Fire Department.
Scott County Funeral Home, Weber City, Va., is in charge of the
arrangements.
