Moved to Dickenson Co, Kan in mid 1870s, and then to Old Kiowa, Barber
Co, Kan about 1881. After the second marriage, they moved to Stevens
Co in westernKan where they lived a short while. They then moved to
Red Bluff, Cal where John died. Mary returned to western Kan and
remarried.

Old Kiowa Cem was later moved to the NewKiowa location when the town
was moved to be on the railroad. Her grave was not moved because the
family could not be located, and the gravesite has beenlost.

After marriage, he lived in Hardtner,Kan until moving to LaJunta to
be a ranch foreman. The owners of the ranch, Mr & Mrs Lewis, drowned
in the same flood as his wife and niece, Elizabeth. Hemoved to
Center, Colo where he and his brother, George, had a potato farm. He
died of cancer of the stomach. Frank and George followed the rodeo
circuit when they needed money and were successful in some of the
contests.

wife as Mary Jane Brownlee.He was postmaster in Humphreys, MO for
years.
727. Samuel Lee White
Lived in MO.
He was a Baptist minister for 5 yrs at the Campground Ch near Osgood,
MO. He moved to an adjoining claim to John White near Hugoton in March
1908. They stayed there 5 yrs and moved by train to Red Bluff, Cal.
Samuel was in poor health and after 2-1/2 months in Cal, he returned
to MO where he died in 1918.
