GATE CITY, Va. - Robert H. Fraysier, 78, went to be with the Lord on
Tuesday (June 29, 2004) at his residence.
He was of the Baptist faith and a memberof Midway Baptist Church. He
attended Victory Baptist Church and Log House Church. He was a World
War II veteran serving in the U.S. Army Infantry. He retired from
Tennessee Eastman after 32 years and 6 months of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Fraysier; parents, Charlie
M. Fraysier andMaxie Craft Fraysier; three brothers, Edd C. Fraysier
and wife Mary Lee, O.D. Fraysier, W.J. (Bo) Fraysier and wife Linna;
two sisters, Irene Fraysier and Helen Fraysier Tipton.
Surviving are his son, Roger Fraysier, Gate City; three sisters, Opal
Babb and husband Elwood, Ft. Blackmore, Va., Crickett Wallace and
husband Lee, Antioch, Calif., Mary Gillenwater and husband Don,
Kingsport; two brothers, Willie Scott (Bill) Fraysier and wife Mary,
Gate City, Jack S. Fraysier and wife Joann, Ft. Blackmore, Va.;
sister-in-law, Ethel Fraysier, Ft. Blackmore, Va.; brother-in-law,
Pete France, Kingsport; special friend, Gladine Gibson, Gate City;
caregiver, Patricia Blevins, Rye Cove, Va.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Scott County Funeral
Home, Weber City, Va., or anytime at the home.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home
chapel with the Rev. George Willis and the Rev. EckelHerron
officiating.
Music will be provided by the Lee Smith Singers.
Graveside services will follow at Holston View Cemetery, Weber City,
Va. Military honors will be provided by the Hawkins County Color
Guard.
Pallbearers will be Jim Lane, Jim Bowlin, James Fleenor, Pete France,
Gene Vermillion, Jack Good.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Baker, Ross Bright, Eugene Blalock.
Carter-Trent/Scott County Funeral Home is serving Mr. Fraysier's
