8387. Cecil Bowser
KINGSPORT - Cecil Bowser, 75, of 3317 Princeton Road, passed away
Friday (Dec. 7, 2001) at Holston Valley Medical Center.
Cecil was born September 4, 1926in Sullivan County, a son of the late
Carson and Mabel Hood Bowser. He was retired from TEC, and a 32nd
Mason of the Kingsport Lodge No. 688 F.&A.M. Cecilwas a Shriner and
member of the Jericho Temple and the International ShrineClown
Association.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are his loving wife, Lula Hale Bowser, of the home;
daughters and son-in-law, Kathy Jean and Johnny Cox, Indianapolis,
Ind., Barbara Ann Bowser Bales, Kingsport; son and daughter-in-law,
Walter Dean and Margaret Bowser, Knoxville; grandchildren, Brandy
Creech, Knoxville, John William Bales, Charlotte, N.C., Cecil Dean
Bales, Limestone, Tina Jean Cline, Johnson City, and Krystal
McReynolds, Indianapolis, Ind.; nine great-grandchildren; a sister,
Jessie Gillis, Kingsport; and a brother, Clay Bowser, Kingsport.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the East Lawn Funeral
Home.
A Masonic service will be conducted at 8p.m. today by the Kingsport
Masonic Lodge No. 688 F.&A.M.
Services will follow in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev.
John Toney officiating.
Graveside services will be held Monday in the garden of faith of the
East LawnMemorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Cecil Dean Bales, John William Bales, Aaron Cline,
Chris McReynolds, Jason Creech, Randy Crumbly and Gary Crumbly.
