FALL BRANCH - Christopher "Chris" Taylor, 28, of 287 Fordtown Road,
went to be with the Lord Saturday (June 30, 2001) at Wellmont Holston
Valley Medical Center following a long bout with cancer.
Born in Kingsport where he was a lifelong resident, he attended
Sullivan Central High School and graduated from Daniel Boone High
School.
He served in the U.S. Army. He was a former employeeof Kenworth
Trucks having worked as a parts clerk before leaving due to health
reasons.
He was also a personal trainer at Power House Gym, and also a body
building competitor.
He attended Fort Robinson Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Emmitt
and Addie Taylor;maternal grandfather, Harry Taylor; and one cousin,
Darryl Hendrix.
Surviving are his parents, Jack and Sharron Perkins, Fall Branch; one
sister, Contessia Taylor and Daniel Grills, Fall Branch; one brother,
Jack Perkins III, FallBranch; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Taylor,
Kingsport; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday atHamlett-Dobson Funeral
Home, downtown, and anytime at the home, 287 FordtownRoad.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel
with Pastor Steve Pate and the Rev. Jeffrey Alford officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holston
View Cemetery, with military rites conducted by American Legion
Hammond Post No. 3.

Kathy was married twice. She was married to Delbert Roy Buster Hood
and he is the father of her four children you have listed. She later
marrieda Ketron. Kathy and Delbert are deceased and one of Delbert's
