Married twice to Elva Richards (9/3/35 & 5/24/55). 2nd marr shows both
divorced and her name as Layne.
Lived at Fall Branch on 1955 Marr Record.
Lived at Kingsport 1977, 1984.
He was born in Greene Co and lived most of his life in Sullivan Co. He
had lived at Fall Branch for the past six years. He retired in 1976
from the Cellulose Esters Div of Eastman after 40 yrs service.
Survivors included one stepdaughter, Colleen Malone, Hudson, Fla; one
stepson, Darius Fleenor, Fall Branch; one step-gr-dau, Angela
Trivette; 3 sis; several nieces and nephews. (from his obituary)

death by 2 bros. Surv by 4 dau, 4 sons, dau-in-law (Regina Isenberg,
Kpt), 6 g-ch (named), 3 g-g-ch (first names only), 2 sis. (from her
obituary)
The surnames of all daughters were assumed to be Dickerson; they were
not clarified in the obituary.One son, Eddie Potter, was not a
Dickerson. No names of husbands were given in her obituary. Before her
obituary, I had marriages to Mr Norton, Mr Dickerson and Mr Isenberg.
Her name in her obituary was Clara Dickerson Isenberg.

16007. Danny K. Charlton

CHURCH HILL - Danny K. Charlton, 47, died Saturday (Aug. 17, 2002) at
his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Sullivan County and lived in Greene County as a child.
He lived in Mount Carmel for the past 22 years. He wasa graduate of
Dobyns-Bennett High School and attended Brewster Tech in Tampa, Fla.
He enjoyed fishing and boating.
He retired from Eastman Chemical Co. in 1997 due to his health.
He was a member of Ross Campground United MethodistChurch.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Charlton; brother,
Doug Charlton; stepfather, Lowell Robinson; maternal grandparents,
Hugh and Flossie Roberts; paternal grandparents, Dana and Betsy
Charlton.
Survivors include his mother, Virginia Robinson of Kingsport; his wife
of 22 years, SusieHorton Charlton, of the home; a special child in
his life, Noah Botkin; a special niece, Clarissa Botkin and husband
Shawn; great-niece, Keylee (Kiwi) Botkin; other nieces and nephews,
Christy Bradley and husband Shawn, Everett Hagood and wife Michelle,
Amye Hagood, Kelly Kincheloe and Wes Kincheloe; great-nieces and
nephews, Corey, Casey and MaKenzie Hagood, Cody Bradley and Gracie
Hagood. Danny enjoyed these children and they were all special to him.
Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Debbie Housewright; special
aunt, Louise Cookenour; and several other aunts and uncles. He will be
missed by his special companions, BB, Molly and Maggie.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home
of Church Hill. Friends may call anytime at the family's residence.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ross Campground
United Methodist Church with Bob Overbey officiating.
The body will lie in state at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to
the services.
Gravesideservices will follow immediately at the Ross Campground
United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Everett Hagood, Bill Overbey, Jackie OverbeyJr.,
David Jones, Bud Isenberg, Mark Cooter and Henry Reynolds.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Coleman, Wes Kincheloe, Corey Hagood,
Dr. David Franzus, Dr. Eric Moffett and Dr. Michael Sullivan.
Memorial contributions may be made to Ross Campground United Methodist
Church, c/o Janie Kincheloe, 930 Jackson St., Mount Carmel, Tenn.
