KINGSPORT - Dorothy JoAnn Watts, 58, 680 BancroftChapel Road, died
Sunday morning (Nov. 11, 2001) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical
Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Greene County and had resided most of her life in
Kingsport.
Mrs. Watts was of the Baptist faith.
She was an avid bird lover.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Watts; parents, Rome
Adams and Iva Bowlin; one brother, Hartzell Zee Adams.
Survivors include her loving companion and husband of 25 years, Bud
Sisk; twosons, Lucky Watts and wife Rita, Roan Mountain, Troy Watts
and wife Barbara,Piney Flats; two grandchildren, Tiffany Watts and
Reese Watts; two sisters, Eastlee Vaughn, Churchill, Tenn., and
Shearmalean Johnson, Baileyton; four brothers, Marvin Adams,
Kingsport, Woody Adams, Jonesborough, Jerry Adams, Pickwick Dam,
Tenn., and Paul Adams, Fall Branch; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamlett-Dobson

Services were conducted at 8 p.m. Mondayin the funeral home chapel
with Pastor Donald Winters officiating.
Gravesideservices will be conducted at 1 p.m. today at Tri-Cities
Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ray Clark, Donnie Barrett, Ralph Barrett, Danny
Barrett, Jim Spears and Mike Arnold, Charlie Hensley and Doug Hensley.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Tennessee Peacemakers Motorcycle
Club.
