Magdalene (Gibson) Castle said that her mother was the daughter of
Lula Gibson who married a Collins. [not quite correct? I think that
she meant sister instead of daughter, or I just heard incorrectly.]
She said thatArchibald Gibson and his second wife raised Mary. When
Magdalene was young, Nath Lane, who was blind, came to stay with Mary
and family at times, and Marytold that children that he was her
father. The children called Nath Lane "Grandpa." (1996)
Harold Peters worked with other members of the family who saidthat
she was the daughter of "Blind Nate" Lane and Kate Gibson. (1999)

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 4 p.m. at Bordwine Funeral
Home in Etowah, Tenn. with the Rev. Stanley Hammonds and Joy Edgeman
officiating.
Interment followed in the Conasauga Cemetery in Conasauga Valley,
Tenn.
Bordwine Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
