William Christopher "Chris" Houseright

Lived at Gate City in 1999.
GATE CITY _ William Christopher (Chris) Houseright, 35, East Jackson
Street, departed this life unexpectedly Tuesday (May 23, 2000) at his
residence.
Born in Sullivan County, he grew up in Scott County,Va., and attended
Victory Baptist Church. He was a former member of the GateCity
Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, Tina Kerns Houseright, Gate City, Va.; two
daughters, Santana Houseright, Gate City, Va., and Whitney Houseright,
Hiltons, Va.; two sons, Tyler Houseright, Gate City, Va., and Tanner
Hood, Duffield, Va.; his parents, William Houseright and Sharlie Free
Houseright, Clinchport, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Randy (Shelia) Bise,
Alice Houseright Ramey, Mrs. Jamey (Dawn) Wood, all of Gate City, Va.,
Mrs. Brian(Lynn) Young and Shelly Houseright, both of Columbus, Ohio;
two brothers andsister-in-law, Tim and Barbara Dockery, Gate City,
Va., and Billy Houseright, Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews;
and a special friend, Kellie Hooper, Gate City, Va.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Scott CountyFuneral Home,
Weber City, Va., and anytime at the residence.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home
chapel with the Rev. RileyBoy officiating.
Burial will follow in M.C. Free Cemetery, Clinchport, Va.
The family will receive friends at the home of William and Sharlie
Houserightat Natural Tunnell after the burial.
Pallbearers will be Michael Graham, JamesByrd Jr., Allen Ison, Wayne
Poole, Jeff Spicer and Matthew Bise.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Byrd Sr., E.J. Robinette and
Charlie Hillman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to William and
Sharlie Houseright, P.O. Box 123, Gate City, Va. 24251.
