MOUNT CARMEL - Mark Twain Taylor Sr., 63, entered into rest Tuesday
(May 6, 2003) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was born in Scott County, Va., on December 24, 1939.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, Helen Dockery Taylor;
stepfather, Toy Mullins; stepbrother, Gaines Mullins.
Survivors include his mother, Irene Taylor Mullins (Despain), Gate
City, Va.; very special friend, Mary Leonard, Mount Carmel; sons, Mark
A. Taylor and wife Brenda, Kingsport, Mark Twain Taylor Jr., and wife
Tina, Kingsport, Robert Toy Taylor, Kingsport, and Jessie Taylor and
wife Brandi, Wabash, Ind.; two sisters, Hattie and husband Ed Falin,
Gate City, Va., and Jamie H. Mullins, Clinchport, Va.; brothers,
Vincent and Anita Mullins, Clinchport, Va., Gregory and Tammy Mullins,
Gate City, Va.; grandchildren, Dewayne, Jessica Michelle, Jordan,
Dakota and Jessica Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Gate City Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at8 p.m. today in the Gene Falin Memorial
Chapel of the funeral home with theRev. Clayton Williams.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at HolstonView Cemetery,
Weber City, Va. The family will be meeting at the cemetery for
graveside services.
Pallbearers will be Mark A. Taylor, Mark T. Taylor Jr., Jessie Taylor,
Gregory Mullins, Michael Mullins and Andy Meade.
