2000).
Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, George Barlow and
Lula Laney Stanley; an infant son, Roger Darrell Stanley;and sisters,
Edna Stanley and Nannie Austin.
Surviving are his wife, AllieFrazier Stanley, of the home; sons,
Lester uBudu Stanley and wife, Dottie, Rogersville, Ronnie uPeteu
Stanley and wife, Sheila, Duffield, Va.; daughter, Edna Bowen and
husband, Elmer, Duffield; brothers, James uJimu Stanley and wife,
Euna, Duffield, Willie uBillu Stanley, Duffield; sister, Lizzie Bowen
and husband, Jarl, Duffield; grandchildren, Herbert Bowen and wife
Tiffany, Beth Rogers and husband Stevie, Brian Stanley, John Henry
Stanley, and Chris Bowen; great-grandchildren, Courtney Rogers and
Tyler Rogers; and two step-grandchildren, Chris Lawson and Julie
Miller.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Duffield Funeral Home
at Thomas Village, Duffield, Va.
Serviceswill be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home
chapel with Evangelist Garry Hood officiating.
Music will be provided by the Hood Family Singers.
Burial will be in the Cox Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
