CLINCHPORT, Va. - Euna Mae Stanley, 71, went to be with the Lord
Wednesday (May 1, 2002) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center.
Mrs. Stanley was born in Scott County, Va., on March 17, 1931 and was
a native of Clinchport, Va.
She was the daughter of the late Lucy Ann Bowen Frazier and Haburn
Hale Frazier.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Otis
Frazier; sister, Ruby Frazier; grandson, James Dakota "Cody" Stanley.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, James Elmer Stanley,
Clinchport, Va.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George
(Judy Ann) Austin, Duffield, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Ronald (Debby Sue)
Lindamood, Blountville and Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Karen Renee) Roberson,
Big Stone Gap, Va.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Larry (Joann) Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Benny (Mary) Stanley, all of
Clinchport, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Tommy (Brenda) Stanley, Gate City, Va.;
nine grandchildren, Benny Wayne Stanley, Jr., Barbie Burke, Donna
Johnson, Jon Austin, Darrell Stanley, Jennifer Stanley, Brandy
Stanley, Courtny Stanley and Curtis Smith; five great-grandchildren,
Marie Hall, Nick Hall, Amanda Johnson,Jacob Stanley and Shawn
Stanley; two brothers, Ray Frazier, Gate City, Va., and James Frazier,

Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. today in the Gene Falin Memorial
Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Gene Swinney and Rev. Jackie
Frazier officiating. Music will be provided by The Smith Trio.
Graveside services will be at11 a.m. Saturday at the Hall Cemetery,
Stanleytown community.
The family will be meeting at the funeral home to go in procession to
the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jon Austin, Curtis Smith, Norman Sloan, Darrell
Stanley, BennyStanley, Jr., David Jones, David Cantrell, Matt Stanley
and Danny McNew.

WEBER CITY, Va. - Oscar "Tom" Claude Begley, 57,entered into rest
Tuesday (Dec. 4, 2001) at Holston Valley Medical Center.
He was born in Scott County, Va., on Sept. 1, 1944 to the late Calles
Palmer Begley and Lizzie Laura Begley.
Including his parents, he was preceded in deathby two sisters, Ann
Oquinn and Ina Begley; one brother, Charles Laney.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Begley, Weber City, Va.; son and
daughter-in-law, Tommy and Sarah Begley, Weber City, Va.; two sisters,
Gladys Babb, Coeburn, Va., and Wanda Darnell, Dungannon, Va.; two
brothers, Jimmie Begley, Dallas, N.C., and Cecil Begley, Dungannon,
Va.; one granddaughter, Celina Reynae Begley; several nieces and
nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. today in the Juanita S. Falin
Chapel of the Gate City Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Gene Falin Memorial
Chapel of the funeralhome with the Rev. Charlie Taylor.
Burial will follow the service at Begley Cemetery, Ft. Blackmore, Va.

He was born Aug. 29, 1947 in Sullivan County.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Jackson Laney; brother,
Ralph;and a niece, Robin Laney.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Marie and Johnny
Hammonds, Kingsport; son and daughter-in-law, David and Becky Laney,
Kingsport; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Leonard Crawford,
Kingsport; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Linda Laney,
Nickelsville, Va.; three stepbrothers Charles, Don and Danny Hammonds;
grandchildren, Allen, Michelle and Matthew Laney; three nieces, Cheri
Hodges, Christy Meade and Rachel Laney; one nephew, Andy Crawford;

NORTON, Va. - Wrightly Cecil Darnell Sr., 81, went to be with the
Lord, Sunday (Sept. 16, 2001).
He was a lifelongresident of Dorchester, Va. He was a U.S. Army
veteran, serving in World WarII from 1942 to 1945.
He was a licensed practical nurse, having retired from Appalachian
Regional Healthcare with 34 years of dedicated care of the sick and
injured.
He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church in Dorchester.
Hewas preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Victor and Polly
Darnell; anda son, Dwight Douglas Darnell.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Williams Darnell, of the home;
