RALEIGH, N.C. - Robert WayneDean, 2430 Garden Hill Drive, died Monday
(Jan. 21, 2002) at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh.
Born in Kingsport, he was a son of the late Daphine McClellen Deanand
Robert E. Dean.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Shirley A. Dean; a daughter, Kathy
Clayton, Wake Forest, N.C.; a son, Gary Dean, Columbus, Ga.; a
brother, Maurice Dean, Lotus, Calif.; grandchildren, Brad Pope,
Allison Clayton, Melody Dean, Robby Dean and Matthew Dean.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bright Funeral
Home, Wake Forest, N.C., with the Rev. Dr. David Cox officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of
Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's St. 4th Floor, Raleigh, N.C. 27605.
