GATE CITY,Va. - Harold H. Williams, 69, of Route 1, passed away
Tuesday (July 1, 2003)at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol at 11:58
p.m.
Mr. Williams was born inHawkins County and had resided in Scott
County most of his life. He retired from T.E.C. as an electrician. Mr.
Williams was a former member, superintendent, and teacher of Bellamy
United Methodist Church and after closing he attended Smiths and
Alleys Chapel U.M.C. Mr. Williams transferred his membership toAlleys
Chapel U.M.C. and was also a member of Manville Ruritan Club.
He waspreceded in death by his parents: Harve Ingle and Lois Davidson
Williams; sister, Elva Williams; two brothers, Virgil Williams and
Calvin Williams; and father-in-law: Claude Williams.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Ella Kate Williams, Gate City,
Va.; mother-in-law, Reba Nell Williams, Gate City, Va.; daughter and

daughters-In-Law: Michael and Violet Williams, Anchorage, Alaska,
Myron and Christi Williams, Gate City, Va., Vernon and Shari Williams,

granddaughters, Cara Beth Williams, Gate City, Va., Lauren Williams,

Calling hours are from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Colonial Funeral
Home in Weber City, Va., and anytime at the residence.
Services will be conductedat 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home
chapel. Officiating will be the Rev.John Hackney, the Rev. David
Salley, and the Rev. Paul Lane.
Music will be provided by Lisa McConnell Edwards.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery following the services.
Pallbearers will be sons, grandsons, and son-in-law.
Honorary pallbearers will be his many friends.
Special thanks to the life extending care of Harold Williams: Dr. Ash
Shipstone and nurses of Kingsport Hematology,Oncology, Dr. Hugh
Sullivan and doctors and nurses of Urology Associates ofKingsport,
Dr. Helms and associates of Radiation Oncology of Kingsport, Dr. Andy
Delwadia and staff. Many thanks for the compassion and caring of the
nurses and staff at Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol.

WEBER CITY, Va. - Billy Ray Williams, 63, Jennings Street, departed
this life Friday morning (June 8, 2001) at Holston Valley Medical
Center.
He was a native of Kingsport and was retired from Tennessee Eastman
Chemical Co. as a warehousing supervisor.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Williams, Weber City, Va.; daughter
and son-in-law, Lisa and Gerald Spivey, Cleveland, Tenn.; grandsons,
Andy Spivey and Adam Spivey; parents, Carson and Dorothy Cross
Williams, Kingsport; a special brother and sister-in-law, Maurice and
Martha Williams, Kingsport; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Scott County Funeral Home,
Weber City,Va., and anytime at the residence.
Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. todayin the funeral home chapel
with the Rev. Claude Lane and the Rev. George Laneofficiating. Music
will be by the Harbour Lights.
Burial will be at 11 a.m.Sunday in Holston View Cemetery. Family and
friends will meet at the funeralhome at 10:15 a.m. to go to the
cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Hobert Adams,Nickey Peters, Keith Taylor, Mark
Williams, Steve Shelton, Leonard Akers, Joel Williams and Gary Frady.
